Miriam O’Hare (BSc, MSc, PGCE, PhD, DipMRCpath, FRSM) is one of the two founders of Micron Research - the company that has now evolved into The Micron Group of companies worldwide. Miriam is a microbiologist and senior executive with more than 25 years’ experience in International pharmaceutical Research and Development. Key strengths include: worldwide clinical research experience, obtained in both large and small Pharma and CRO companies, an in-depth knowledge of trials in anti-infectives, a broad regulatory knowledge and administrative and project management expertise across a variety of therapeutic areas. She has presented at many major international meetings and is author on more than 100 publications in the fields of antimicrobial chemotherapy and clinical research. Miriam is also a visiting Professor in the department of Health and Social Care at Bournemouth University.
