Micron Research Founded

Dr Ian Harding and Dr Miriam O'Hare come together to combine their deep industry knowledge and create Micron Research

The Micron Group formed

In order to allow the company to grow, to pursue acquisitions and to allow the company to serve more customers outside of the UK the group was restructured under The Micron Group, the parent company.

The Micron Group formed

US Micron established

Customers in the USA were able to access Micron’s services directly through the newly established subsidiary in the USA.

2003

Clindev joins The Micron Group

The group expanded its capability significantly with the acquisition of Clindev (Pty) Ltd in South Africa, allowing the group to serve trials in Africa directly.

2009

LogicTrials established

A new subsidiary was set up in South Africa to provide pharmaceutical warehousing and distribution, supporting all aspects of the clinical supply chain. Also registered as a wholesaler of medicine and medical devices.

EU Micron established

Micron’s first EU subsidiary established to better serve EU-based clients.
