Sonia is Head of Clinical Operations at Micron Research. She has more than 25 years of clinical research experience in monitoring and management of clinical trials mainly in anti-infectives and oncology indications and working throughout Africa and Europe. Sonia’s principal responsibilities include overall project management of global projects, managing and supervising clinical/administrative operations at US Micron and Micron Research Ltd, and contributing to the overall strategy, direction, business development, and expansion of The Micron Group.

Sonia holds an MSc in Clinical Research from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, a BSc in Chemistry and Mathematics (UP, South Africa) and a post graduate qualification in Higher Education (UP, South Africa).
